Nepal is known as a naturally gifted country which has various natural resources which make it a country of immense pride.Due to the availability of abondance of natural gifts it makes our country,a country of exotic beauty.Among these gifts water resource is one of the major resources. Nepal is second richest country in water resources after Brazil.The big river that flow across the country originate from the mountains.The river flows through the country.Though we are rich in water resources people have to depend upon monsoon rain for agriculture.This indicates the poor irrigation sysytem in the country.The whole world today is running in the electric energy which is generated from water but due to low economical status our country has to depend upon the other countries for generating the electricity.The problem of population growth has ultimately led to an adverse effect on the proper and safe use of water.The rivers we have are being rapidly polluted now were once considered holy in ancient times and were given much importance for its conservation.Thus it is high time the awareness should be spread to every individual about the preservation and importance of water.The Nepalese Government on its part should carry out to proper responsibilities to make good use of the water.It has become a matter of ashame to have water problem in our country.It makes us doubt whether Nepal really is the second riches country in water resources in the world since we have to face these problems annually,than those countries which have limited amount of water resources.
